Go Global Now | International Product Platform
This Privacy Policy explains how HiWi Inc. ("Go Global Now," "we," "us," or "our" for purposes of the international product experience) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our international website, create an account, start a free trial, subscribe to a paid plan, connect a marketplace shop, or use our software and related services (collectively, the "Services").
Go Global Now provides software tools to help e-commerce sellers analyze shops, manage and optimize product listings, work with pricing and inventory information, and use AI-assisted features where available. The international product experience is operated by HiWi Inc. The India-focused Go Global Now experience is operated by HiWi Forex Transaction Services Private Limited and is covered by its own applicable notices.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services, the features you use, and the permissions you grant.
A. Account and sign-in information
When you create or manage an account, we may collect your name, email address, company or store name, account preferences, and information needed to authenticate your sign-in. If you use a third-party sign-in option, we may receive the authentication token and profile information that the provider makes available to us. We do not receive your third-party account password through a standard authorization sign-in flow.
B. Marketplace and shop information
If you connect a supported marketplace shop, we access information made available through the marketplace connection and the permissions you authorize. Depending on the marketplace and features enabled, this may include your shop identifier, product listing titles and descriptions, tags, categories, images, variants, prices, inventory details, and performance information supplied by the marketplace. We use the relevant data to provide the features you request, such as shop analysis, listing management, bulk editing, and optimization.
The information available to us varies by marketplace, the permissions granted, and the functionality you choose to use. Marketplace providers separately govern your use of their services and their handling of information under their own terms and privacy notices.
C. Product content and AI-assisted features
We may collect the text, prompts, instructions, images, files, and other content you submit to our tools, together with results or content generated for you. This information is used to provide the requested feature, maintain your work where the product allows it, troubleshoot issues, and support your account. AI-enabled features may send relevant inputs to technology providers that help generate an output.
D. Free trials, subscriptions, and billing records
When you start a trial or purchase a subscription, we may collect plan selection, trial and subscription status, billing contact details, invoice and transaction records, renewal or cancellation information, and related customer-support communications.
International subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes payment information under its own privacy practices. We may receive transaction-related information from Stripe, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, invoice details, billing information, and subscription status. For more information, see Stripe's Privacy Policy.
E. Communications and support
If you contact us, request help, respond to a survey, or communicate with us by email or through the Services, we collect the information you choose to provide and the information needed to respond.
F. Technical, usage, and device information
When you visit or use the Services, we may automatically collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating-system details, language or time-zone settings, referring pages, pages or features used, timestamps, log data, diagnostic events, and information about how you interact with the Services. Cookies and similar technologies may collect some of this information, as explained in Section 6.
G. Information from other sources
We may receive information from connected marketplaces, payment providers such as Stripe, sign-in providers you choose, and service providers that help us operate, secure, or support the Services.
2. How We Use Information
We use information for legitimate business purposes, including to:
- create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
- provide the Services, including free trials, subscriptions, marketplace connections, shop analysis, listing tools, pricing features, and AI-assisted functionality;
- sync marketplace information and carry out actions you request through the product;
- process subscriptions, payments, invoices, refunds, renewals, and cancellations;
- respond to support requests and communicate important service, security, billing, and policy updates;
- understand product use, maintain reliability, debug errors, develop features, and improve the user experience;
- detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
- enforce our agreements and protect our rights, users, and Services; and
- comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Where required by law, we will obtain consent before using information for a purpose that requires it. We do not use more information than is reasonably needed for the relevant purpose.
3. Marketplace Connections
When you connect a marketplace account, you authorize Go Global Now to access the marketplace information and permissions described in the connection flow. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to connect the shop and provide the relevant data.
You can manage or revoke a connection through the available product or marketplace controls. Revoking a connection generally stops future access through that authorization, but it may not automatically remove information already synced into Go Global Now. You can request account or data deletion using the contact details in Section 14, subject to the retention exceptions described in Section 8.
Marketplace services are operated by third parties. Your use of a marketplace remains subject to that marketplace's terms, privacy notice, and authorization settings.
4. AI-Assisted Features
Some features use artificial intelligence to help analyze, generate, rewrite, or optimize content. To provide these features, the relevant information you submit may be processed by Go Global Now and by technology providers that support the feature. Generated results may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before you publish or rely on them.
We use submitted content and generated results to provide the feature you request and to operate and support the Services. The AI providers and configurations used for the Services may change over time. We will update this Policy if a material change to our handling of information requires an update.
5. When We Share Information
We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: To companies that help us host, store, secure, analyze, support, and operate the Services; process subscriptions; provide AI functionality; or communicate with users. These providers may process information on our behalf to perform their services.
- Marketplace platforms: To the marketplace you connect, where needed to authenticate the connection or carry out an action you request, such as syncing or updating listing information.
- Payment processing: To Stripe and relevant payment partners to process transactions, manage billing, prevent fraud, and handle payment-related questions or disputes.
- Legal and safety reasons: When we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a lawful request, or is necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud or abuse.
- Business changes: In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate protections.
- With your direction or consent: When you ask us to share information or otherwise direct us to do so.
We do not sell personal information for money. If analytics or advertising technologies are enabled on a particular version of the website or Services, some online identifiers or usage information may be collected or disclosed to those providers. Depending on the law that applies, certain disclosures may be treated as sharing or targeted advertising even if no money changes hands. See Section 7 for related choices.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We or our service providers may use cookies, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies to keep the Services functioning, remember preferences, understand traffic and product usage, improve performance, and, where enabled, measure or deliver marketing.
You can manage cookies through available website cookie controls and your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect sign-in or other product functionality. Browser settings may not control every type of technology used by a service, so use the available cookie or privacy controls where provided.
The specific analytics and advertising technologies used may vary by website experience and product configuration. We will provide any notices or consent choices required by applicable law.
7. Privacy Choices and U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have the right to request access to personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete information, obtain a portable copy, or opt out of certain processing, including targeted advertising or certain disclosures described by law as a sale or sharing. You may also have the right to appeal a decision we make about a privacy request.
We do not sell personal information for money. If applicable law gives you an opt-out right relating to targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information, you may use available cookie or privacy controls or contact us using Section 14. We will process requests and verify identity as required by applicable law. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Not every right is available in every jurisdiction, and exceptions may apply. You may also be able to update some account information directly in your account settings.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the Services, manage your account and subscription, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Services.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the feature involved, and the reason it was collected. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it. Some records may be retained for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes. Copies may also remain in routine backups for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted.
Deleting an account or disconnecting a marketplace does not necessarily erase every record immediately. We will handle deletion requests in accordance with applicable law and the exceptions described above.
9. Security
We use technical, organizational, and administrative measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for legitimate business purposes.
No website, software, or data transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot promise absolute security, but we work to maintain safeguards appropriate to the information and the Services.
10. International Data Processing
The international Go Global Now product experience is operated by HiWi Inc. Depending on the feature and the service providers involved, information may be processed in the United States, India, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. The India-focused Go Global Now experience is operated by HiWi Forex Transaction Services Private Limited and is covered by its own applicable notices. Privacy laws in the countries where information is processed may differ from the laws where you live.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an appropriate transfer mechanism or other safeguard required by that law.
11. EEA, United Kingdom, and Other Regions with Additional Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with specific data-protection laws, you may have additional rights, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive certain personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and complain to a data-protection authority.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal basis for processing will depend on the context and may include performing a contract with you, complying with a legal obligation, pursuing legitimate interests such as protecting and improving the Services, or obtaining your consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise a right, contact us using Section 14. We may need to verify your identity and may be unable to fulfill a request where an applicable legal exception permits or requires us to retain or process the information.
12. Children's Privacy
The Services are designed for business users and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the request and take appropriate action.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Services, our data practices, or applicable law. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
